This condemnation action was instituted by the City of Orofino as a part of its airport improvement program, involving relocation of a part of the State Highway system, i.e., U.S. Highway 12. In this action the city sought to condemn 1.59 acres of land owned by the defendants-respondents which lay south of the then existing Highway 12, with approximately 390 feet of land fronting on the old highway.
