This suit was filed originally by Mrs. Grace Agnes Cornish and others for a declaratory judgment decreeing plaintiffs to be the owners of the bottom of a canal, known as Kinder Canal, insofar as it traverses parts of two sections of land in Allen Parish, Louisiana. Kinder Canal Company, Inc., and Sun Oil Company were named as defendants. Sun Oil Company is the owner of an oil, gas and mineral lease affecting the property in dispute, and it filed an answer...
