This appeal stems from the conviction of appellant, Oliver James Ammons, on 18 counts of an indictment charging violations of 18 U.S.C. § 21 and 18 U.S.C. § 1341, the latter proscribing use of the mail for the purpose of executing a scheme to defraud.
