In 1959 Homer and Dorothy Salisbury became the owners of a house and 15,524 square feet of land (the property) on the north side of Allentown Road about 220 yards from the main entrance to Andrews Air Force Base (Andrews). It was their first real estate transaction. She is employed at Andrews as a clerk typist; he, because of heart disease, has been retired from the government...
