Plaintiffs, Gaylord G. Thieme and Russell L. Armstrong, brought this action against defendant, Seattle-First National Bank (hereinafter called "SFNB"), to recover the payment of their check for $3,500 upon an unauthorized endorsement. SFNB cross claimed against codefendant Bank of Everett for any loss it might sustain in the event judgment was entered against it. The trial court entered judgment for plaintiffs against SFNB, but denied a recovery on the cross...
