The defendant was convicted of the murder of a six-year-old child and sentenced to life imprisonment. Thereafter, a motion for new trial was filed, amended and overruled and the present appeal filed. The jury was instructed as to murder and involuntary manslaughter, but was not instructed as to voluntary manslaughter.
