The State of Louisiana appeals from District Judge Alvin B. Rubin's judgment granting Robert Favre's application for a writ of habeas corpus. The district court determined that the admission of certain testimony at Favre's state court trial denied Favre his right to be confronted with the witnesses against him and that the admission of the testimony was not harmless error.
