The jury returned a verdict for the defendant in this action for damages as a result of a rear-end automobile collision accident occurring on September 3, 1968, at 39th and Van Dorn Streets in Lincoln, Nebraska. The trial court instructed the jury that the defendant was negligent as a matter of law and submitted to the jury only the issues of what injuries, if any, were proximately caused by the defendant's negligence, and the amount of the damages...
