This appeal presents still another difficult problem concerning the prohibition of religious discrimination contained in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (1970). Appellant, a Negro newspaper man in Memphis, sought employment as a copyreader on the Press-Scimitar, an afternoon newspaper in Memphis published by defendant-appellee.
