This case arises out of an incident which occurred on December 11, 1970, when plaintiff delivered his car, a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette, into the care, custody and control of defendant for the performance of certain maintenance services to said vehicle at defendant's service station, including the draining of used oil from the crankcase and replacement of the same with fresh oil.
