COWAN, Judge.

The defendant was convicted of a felony in New Mexico in 1966. On November 22, 1971, he pled guilty to another felony and was sentenced to a term of two to ten years in the penitentiary. On December 22, 1971, the District Attorney for the First Judicial District filed a Habitual Criminal Information against the defendant under § 40A-29-5(A), N.M.S.A. 1953 (Repl.Vol. 6), based on the 1966 and 1971 convictions.
