This is a motion by plaintiff pursuant to CPLR 3101 (subd. [a]), and CPLR 3124, to compel defendant to submit a sample of his handwriting as requested at a deposition.

The action arose out of an automobile accident. At the time of the accident, plaintiff was furnished by the driver of the other vehicle with a slip of paper upon which the other motorist wrote his purported name, address...
