The parties appear here in the same order they appeared in the trial court and will hereinafter be referred to by their trial court designations of "plaintiff" and "defendant", respectively. When, in 1954, that court granted plaintiff a divorce from defendant, she was awarded custody of the couple's only child, a one-year-old daughter, Lowery Jean. The divorce decree also awarded her the sum of $50.00 per month for Lowery Jean's support and maintenance...
