On February 16, 1955, the defendant Gauthier was found guilty by a jury after being tried jointly with codefendants Donald F. Boisvert, Edward R. Beaulieu and Robert E. Weaver under G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, on indictments charging each with murder in the second degree, robbery, and conspiracy.1 Gauthier did not appeal.
