Edgar R. Jordan instituted this suit to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him when a bulldozer ran over his left foot. Defendants are I. A. McCann, the owner and operator of the bulldozer; Fidelity & Casualty Company of New York, McCann's liability insurer; and Mid-Gulf Construction, Inc., the general contractor on the project where the bulldozer was being used.
