"Jailhouse lawyer" may be a pejorative term applied by some with derision but not by judges who know these penitentiary paracletes present frequently imaginative and innovative ideas. Gideon v. Wainwright, 372 U.S. 335 (83 S.C. 792, 9 LE2d 799, 93 ALR2d 733), was the result of a prisoner's product.
