This suit concerns $42,500 in currency unearthed by appellee Robert Kirkland while digging a ditch in a new industrial development in northwest Dallas. The soil in which the money was found had been hauled in from other locations to raise the level of the land. Claimants included the heirs of W. D. Felder, Sr., from whose home place a substantial amount of earth had been hauled to the area where the money was found, the widow and children of Oliver...
