PRITCHARD, Judge.

The trial court granted annexation of 680 acres of land to the City of Lawson which had at the time of trial a population of 1,092 persons and an acreage within its boundaries of 462. The 680 acres proposed to be annexed lies immediately to the west of the city and is between it and U. S. Highway 69. The sole issue is whether under the Sawyers Act, Section 71.015, RSMo 1969, V.A.M.S., the city's resolution of annexation of the area of March 25, 1971...
