Defendant was charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 2-1/2-month-old son. MCLA 750.316; MSA 28.548. At preliminary examination in the Flint Municipal Court, the charge was reduced and defendant was bound over to the circuit court on a charge of second-degree murder. MCLA 750.317; MSA 28.549.
