This is an appeal under the provisions of G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A 33G, as amended. The defendant, a minor, was convicted on November 7, 1969, of the carnal abuse of a child and committed, under G.L.c. 123A, to the treatment center at the Correctional Institution at Bridgewater for observation and treatment.
