Defendant, Charles M. Smyth, was convicted of grand larceny by a jury in the Superior Court for Cowlitz County. The gravamen of the offense was that he was knowingly in possession of stolen property consisting of stereo equipment and accessories, under the provisions of RCW 9.54.010(5).1 He appeals the judgment and sentence.
