The plaintiff has appealed from a judgment dismissing his application for a writ of habeas corpus by which he sought to test the legality of his arrest, which had been authorized by a warrant issued by the governor of this state pursuant to General Statutes § 54-163. See General Statutes § 54-164. The warrant had been issued in response to a written demand for the plaintiff's extradition to Massachusetts made by that state's executive authority...
