Mr. JUSTICE SIMKINS delivered the opinion of the court:

On August 7, 1968, defendant, without counsel, entered pleas of guilty to forgery, two counts of theft under $150 and unlawful use of weapons. The trial court imposed a sentence of 5 to 8 years in the penitentiary on the forgery charge, and sentences of one year each on the other three charges, the sentences to run concurrently.
