This is a proceeding brought under the Juvenile Procedure Act, 33 V.S.A. §§ 631-666. The proceeding was commenced when, on August 7, 1970, the state's attorney for Washington County brought a petition to the District Court of Vermont, Unit No. 5, Washington Circuit, sitting as a Juvenile Court.
