The defendant appeals, pursuant to an order of this Court granting the defendant's application for leave to appeal, from the trial court's refusal to suppress certain evidence.

The defendant is presently charged with arson. MCLA 750.72; MSA 28.267. On December 31, 1968 the defendant's dwelling was gutted by fire. The Chief of the East Jordan Fire Department, who responded to the alarm, observed that the fire was hard to extinguish and "kept springing...
