COLEMAN, Justice.

This is a death action in which actual and exemplary damages are sought. After a jury trial judgment in the sum of $220,000.00 was entered for the plaintiffs. The jury found gross negligence, but awarded nothing as exemplary damages. The most interesting question involved in the case is the construction to be given Section 12g of Article 8306, Vernon's Ann.Civ.St. This section provides that where an employer seeking to comply with the Workmen's Compensation...
