In this neglect proceeding, this court is called upon to adjudicate a controversy arising out of the intransigence of opposing sides in which, as so often happens, two children are caught as pawns. Despite several efforts by the court to mediate this matter before, during and after the trial, the parties insisted on keeping to the collision course they had charted.
