This appeal, insofar as it involves the United States, is from a conviction of simple assault.1 The District of Columbia conviction is for disorderly conduct2 in that appellant did

"under circumstances such that a breach of the peace might be occasioned thereby act in a manner as to annoy, disturb, interfere with, obstruct and be offensive to others by cursing and swearing...
