On October 18, 1968, Carolina Power & Light Company, as condemnor, brought this proceeding to acquire a right-of-way across a 172 acre tract of woodland in Darlington County owned by Frank P. Copeland, Jr., landowner. The easement required was for the purpose of constructing and maintaining electric power lines.
