Charles Davis, Administrator, brought this action for the wrongful death of his infant decedent, Dorothy Davis, against David A. Pretlow and Howard C. Denby. The administrator alleged that Pretlow negligently operated a motor vehicle owned by Denby, causing it to strike Dorothy Davis and inflict fatal injuries upon her.
