Plaintiff, Dixie Electric Membership Corporation, seeks a right-of-way in the nature of a servitude over the property of defendant, Carl R. Watts, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining electric transmission and distribution lines. The defendant's property comprises a tract of 118 acres located on the Denham Road in the northern part of the Parish of East Baton Rouge.
