BOSLAUGH, Justice.

The defendants appeal from convictions for auto theft. The appeals were consolidated for briefing and argument in this court.

The evidence shows that on May 3, 1971, the defendants took a 1964 Chevrolet automobile owned by Charles Louis Gregory and drove it from Cozad, Nebraska, to a point approximately 15 miles east of Sterling, Colorado.
