This suit arose out of a motor vehicle accident which occurred on May 22, 1968. Plaintiffs filed a complaint on April 8, 1970, which was served April 15, 1970. On March 19, 1971, a rule issued on Angelo Pellegrino, at the request of defendant, requiring him to show cause why he should not be joined as an additional defendant.
