Defendant and Preston Bell were arrested and charged with the crime of armed robbery. Following a trial by the court, the defendant and his accomplice, Bell, were found guilty. Bell was sentenced to serve five to twelve years, and defendant was sentenced to serve four to eight years in the State penitentiary.
