This case originated upon the filing by plaintiff, Bruce D. King, with the Michigan Employment Security Commission, of a claim for unemployment benefits. From the decision of a hearing referee, the commission's appeal board dismissed an appeal filed by plaintiff with the board on the ground that the board lacked jurisdiction over the case.
