The plaintiffs are fuel oil dealers who sell and deliver fuel oil for heating purposes to homeowners in the Town of Huntington. The defendant, Long Island Lighting Company (hereinafter referred to as Lilco), is a public utility which transmits, sells and distributes gas and electricity in the Town of Huntington.
