Appellant, Ruth L. Hill, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged and tried in the District Court of Jackson County, for the offense of Shooting With Intent to Kill. She was found guilty of Assault With a Dangerous Weapon With Intent to do Bodily Harm, sentenced to a term of five (5) years imprisonment, the first three (3) years to be served and the last two (2) years suspended...
