PER CURIAM.

This matter involves the automatic suspension of the petitioner by the Alaska Bar Association for failure to pay active membership dues for the year 1971.

It is the contention of the petitioner that he should be granted inactive member status in the Alaska Bar Association because he is a law clerk to a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Alaska; therefore, he is not engaged in the active practice of law...
