Since 1969 Wayne and Noreen Grever, plaintiffs-appellants, have operated a hotel and resort business known as the Ferncroft Lodge in west-central Idaho. While plaintiffs' predecessor in interest was operating the lodge in 1967, the defendant's predecessor, Ben Telephone Company, discontinued telephone service pursuant to an agreement with plaintiffs' predecessor.
