This is an action to recover damages to a dump truck owned by plaintiff-appellant, which was hit by a front-end loader. Defendants-appellees, Bruno and Olinger, were the owner and driver, respectively, of the loader. A default judgment was entered against defendant Vern W. Smith, d/b/a Vern W. Smith Construction Co., which is not involved in this appeal.

The jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff...
