This case presents a claim by James Harvey Johnson, an inmate at the Lewisburg federal penitentiary, that he is entitled to an award of damages in the sum of $35,000 because Defendant Cronrath, a guard at the penitentiary, allegedly seized and willfully destroyed certain legal documents and research materials belonging to Plaintiff.
