This diversity case is a suit upon a policy of accident insurance issued in 1966 by the defendant, Occidental Life Insurance Co. of California, to the then wife of plaintiff, John T. Haskins of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Joanne Parrish Haskins. The policy was in the principal sum of $50,000, and the Company undertook to pay that sum to the beneficiary, Mr. Haskins, on account of the accidental death of the insured...
