At a joint trial before a jury John Jerkins was convicted of three counts of selling heroin to government undercover agents and Annette Graham was convicted of aiding and abetting these sales, all in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 4705(a).1 The three heroin sales were alleged to have taken place on November 16, 1970, on November 24, 1970, and on January 2, 1971.
