The present proceedings were initiated by the libellants of the vessel SS VEDALIN in order to enforce the liability of a defaulting Marshal's sale purchaser to pay for the expenses attendant upon re-sale of the vessel. The VEDALIN was libelled by certain of her crew upon her arrival in the Port of Baltimore, and pursuant to order of this Court the vessel was sold at auction by the United States Marshal on March 13, 1972, to the high bidder for...
