Kerr-McGee Corporation, as lessee under a uranium mining lease, brought this action for declaratory judgment requesting judicial interpretation of certain provisions of the lease. In response, the lessor, Bokum Corporation, filed an answer and counterclaim seeking possession of the property and claiming that it had terminated the lease for various alleged breaches by Kerr-McGee.
