The defendant Charles Brooks has been indicted for stealing mail in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 1708. He moves to suppress the introduction into evidence of a bag containing many pieces of mail that was seized by the Milwaukee Police at the time of his arrest on the ground that the seizure violated his rights under the Fourth Amendment.
