1. The offense of burglary, of which the defendant was charged, was committed August 29, 1969. He was indicted June 1, 1970, while he was serving time in a Federal Penitentiary in Tallahassee, Florida, to which he had been committed in the early part of 1970. He was paroled from the U. S. Penitentiary on March 19, 1971, and turned over to the Georgia authorities to stand trial for the offense charged in the present case. On April 12, 1971, he made...
