BOOCHEVER, Justice.

The Alaska State Housing Authority condemned the Kodiak Hotel and the land on which it was situated. A small portion of that land was owned by the present appellants, the Fitzgeralds, and the larger, remaining portion was owned by the Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church of North America. In 1919 the Church leased its portion of the land to the predecessors in interest of the Fitzgeralds. In 1948 the lease was amended, extending its term to 1988...
