Plaintiff company filed suit against defendants charging tortious interference with certain contracts. A jury was selected, and trial commenced. Upon completion of plaintiff's opening statement, the trial court invited defendants to move for what it referred to as a directed verdict. They did so, and the trial court granted the motion and dismissed plaintiff's complaint...
