Mr. and Mrs. Grant Arp, operators of a hog ranch, on August 3, 1966, purchased hog cholera vaccine (porcine blood origin — crystal violet inactivated virus) and vaccinated seventy weaner pigs, some of which became sick with suspected cholera.
